Abstract

392,119. Feeding sheets. WESTERLIN & CO., A. B., 1, Dõmmevõgen, and DANIELSSON, Y. A. F., 4, Ovra Viktoriagatan, both in Gothenburg, Sweden. Dec. 23, 1932, No. 36446. [Class 100 (i).] Pile supports ; sheet separators and carriers.- In sheet-feeding apparatus of the kind in which fanned-out piles are advanced from a lower pivoted table 1, carried by standards 2, to an upper pivoted table 3 by means of a roller 4 and belts 6, 12, the sheets are moved in succession from the upper table 3 by means of suction separating and forwarding devices 20, 25, or other similar known means, which separate and transport the sheets in a direction at right-angles to the advancing motion of the pile. The devices 20, 25 co-operate with feed rollers and a belt which feeds the sheets to the grippers of the printing &c. press, and the sheets may reach the belt in overlapped condition. The pile may be advanced from the upper feed table 3 to the lower feed table 1. The feed tables 1, 3 are pressed upwards by springs 17, 19.
