Abstract

1534357 Handling thin material SAPAL SOC ANON DES PLIEUSES AUTOMATIQUES 12 March 1976 [2 May 1975] 10083/76 Heading B8R Sheets (4) cut from a web or separated from a pile by rotating satellite rollers 7 with suction cups are forwarded to a register position against stop 9 by conveyer belts 23a continuously movable around a cleared path and mounted on a carriage reciprocated between the full and dotted line portions by a pivoted lever 15. During transport the sheets are held in contact with the positively driven belts by rollers 25-29 some of which are mounted on a pivoted lever 30 to permit them to be raised to admit a sheet. Grippers 10a, 10b remove the registered sheet at 90 degrees to the original transport direction.
