386,094. Dust-filters. WHITEHEAD & SONS, Ltd., G. and WHITEHEAD, C., Salford Works, Todmorden, Lancashire. Dec. 2, 1931, No. 33365. [Class 8 (ii).] A filter comprises a set of perforated cylinders i lying loosely and eccentrically one within another and rotatable either continuously or when required to be cleaned within a casing having inlet and outlet orifices, the cylinders dipping into or being sprayed with oil. A reel on a shaft e carries the cylinders by a shoulder h on one of its endplates, felt or other packing j being provided. The cylinders may be of expanded metal, and two or more sets of cylinders may be disposed in one casing.
