[Class 64 (i).] An indirectly heated liquid storage container 3 of galvanized iron or steel or other metal liable to galvanic action has an internal heater 7 so constructed and arranged as to avoid a cool layer of water collecting in a space between the heater and bottom of a container when the latter is horizontally arranged. The internal heater comprises a hood-like outer shell 7 enclosing an inner shell 6 ; the ends of the outer and inner shells are connected, and longitudinal edges of the outer shell are attached to the interior of the centainer 3. Heating water passes in at 10 and out at 11.
