Abstract

382,535. Trawling-gear. V. D., Ltd., 54, Victoria Street, London. March 29, 1932, No. 8994. Convention date, Nov. 20, 1931. [Class 48.] Traction cables 13 are 20-25 per cent shorter than the length of the net to which they are attached. The net pocket 1 has three side ropes which are connected to the struts 2. One end of each cable 13 is attached to the centre of a strut 2 and the other end to a conical member 31. The device may be used with a beam and iron trawl or other type of trawling gear. Specifications 339,083, [Class 48, Fish &c.], 349,871 and 371,733 are referred to.
