Abstract

349,871. Trawling-gear. V. D., Ltd., 54, Victoria Street, London. Sept. 16, 1930, No. 27628. Convention date, July 24. [Class 48.] The rear pocket of a trawling gear is provided with slats 2, 4 or other rigid structure connected by a cable 9 which operates at a distance from the ground and carries a curtain 11. The net is of the type in which the belly and ground rope are omitted. An additional cable 8 is provided or the cable 9 is attached to the slats by crowfoot connections. The curtain may be slotted or have weak parts which are adapted to be torn to afford the passage of the net over an obstacle.
