Abstract

382,310. Securing globes &c. to lamp holders &c. EDISON SWAN ELECTRIC CO., Ltd., 123, Queen Victoria Street, and STENT, T. F., 17, Montpelier Rise, Golders Green, both in London. July 23, 1931, No. 21093. [Class 75 (ii).] A globe, shade, reflector, or the like is secured to a gas or like burner or to an electric lamp holder 1 by means of two or more pivoted two-armed pawls 9 which are biased by means of plate springs 11 to have two stable positions, in one of which the pawls project to engage the inwardly-projecting flange of the globe and in the other allow the removal or attachment of the globe. The pawls are disposed in recesses 8 and may be locked in the securing position by hinged wire loops 12.
