Abstract

382,214. Rotary compressors. TEVES, A., 23, Gustavsburgstrasse, Frankfort-on- Main, Germany. April 19, 1932, No. 11226. Convention date, May 11, 1931. [Class 110 (ii).] The casing o f a rotary compressor is built up of two end bearing plates a, b, and intermediate rings c<1>, c<2>, d, with parallel machined faces. Bolts e secure the parts of the casing together. Parallel sided pistons f<1>, f<2> operate between the plates a, b and the centre plate d. Delivery valves k<1>, k<2> deliver into a common channel l. Both inlet and outlet valves and a non-return inlet valve are all located in the endplates a, b, and are accessible from outside the pump. The capacity of the pump may be varied by using pistons and rings of greater or less widths.
