Abstract
378,593. Building-blocks; walls. CLARE, G. E., 33, College Road, Harrow, Middlesex. March 21, 1932, No. 17802/31. [Classes 20 (iv) and 87 (i).] Cavity walls comprise inner and outer walls built of blocks or slabs each provided with one or more frogs 2, as shown in the Figure, impressed on one side to a depth of not less than one half of the thickness of the block, the edges of the block surrounding the frogs being recessed at 3 to provide projections 5, 8 at the ends and centre, the recesses having a greater area than the projections. The walls are built up of blocks with the frogs facing one another and with the projections in contact; or the walls may be spaced apart by ties which may be formed of asbestos cement.
