Double walls; wall-ties; mouldings.-In the constructicn of slab walls with intermediate columns, the slabs are ribbed or flanged all round on the inner faces and also transversely, and are spaced by projections a' on the columns and tied together by clips k which engage eyes b<7> projecting from the slab reinforcements. The clips and eyes are subsequently encased in concrete. Architectural mouldings may be attached to the slabs by dovetailed tongues and grooves, or the edges of the panels may project to form mouldings. The main faces of the panels may be pebble-dashed.
