Abstract
377,958. Two-way transmission. KING'S PATENT AGENCY, Ltd., 146A, Queen Victoria Street, London.-(Lowe, J. P. ; 2600, Casilla, Lima, Peru.) Jan. 30, 1931, No. 3023. [Class 40 (iv).] A balanced transformer system for coupling a two-way line to the branches of a two-way repeater without requiring a balancing network comprises four pairs of primary and secondary windings a, as ; x, xs ; x<1>, x<1>s ; a<1>, a's ; of which the primaries are connected in series with one (x<1>) in reversed sense. The secondaries are connected to pairs of primary windings b, b<1> of balanced intermediate transformers having secondaries bs, b<1>s, connected in series to the repeater input transformer c, and bridged connections to the repeater output transformers e. The windings x, xs ; xl, x<1>s, may be wound on one core, and the remaining windings on a single second core or on two separate cores.
