[Class 13.] In a modification of the sound amplifier described in the parent Specification the sound conduit 2 is formed with a lower or outer orifice sufficiently large, e.g. 3 in. to 20 ins. or more in diameter, to enclose the large-dimensioned diaphragm 1 used for electric sound transmission. The conduit 2 may carry a parabolic &c. reflector 4, and may be bell-shaped, tapering, or cylindrical.
