Abstract
376,713. Indirectly heated steam boilers. SABATIER, J., 10, Parc Fontaine Bleue, Maison, Mazzias, Algiers. Jan. 8, 1931, No. 748. Convention date, Jan. 13, 1930. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Classes 123 (ii) and 123 (iii).] The exhaust gases from a Diesel or like engine are led through a heat-insulated chamber 2 containing a superheater 3 and a tubular heater 4, into which the engine cooling water is conducted through a pipe 5. The heated water and steam flow into an accumulator 6 from which steam flows through a pipe 7 to the superheater. The steam is used in a turbine working in conjunction with the Diesel engine.
