Abstract
376,506. Frictional pocket-igniters. THORENS SOC. ANON., H., Sainte Croix, Switzerland. July 20, 1931, No. 20753. Convention date, Aug. 1, 1930. [Class 75 (iii).] The wick - cap 11 is providec with two lateral journals 12 movable in upwardly opening slots 13 in a U-shaped member 14 secured to the pivoted cover 3 and is acted upon by a spring 15 sc as to fit exactly on the conical end 9a of the wick tube 9 when the cover is closed. The cover is held in the closed position by a hook 17 on a spring-pressed slide 20 engaging a shoulder 16 on the member 14 and may be locked by screwing in the operation of screw 19 to engage a tube 9b containing the wick tube. The latter may be raised or lowered by operating a toothed wheel 10.
