364,385. Watches combined with igniters. SOMMER, H., DelÚmont, Switzerland. Feb. 12, 1931, No. 4445. Convention date, Feb. 15, 1930. [Class 139.] In a pocket igniter in which a circular watch is mounted in a case 11 in the casing 1, the member 4 carrying the friction-wheel and flint is mounted removably in a conical aperture in the top plate 2 and extends only through a portion of the casing so as not to interfere with the case 11, which is made as large as the width of the casing will permit. The watch movement 13 is held by a bezel 16 in a case 12 fitting in the case 11, the winding stem extending through a slot 11<1> with the winding button in a recess 14. The case 12 may be removed by inserting a pin through an aperture 15. A cover 9 for the wick and wheel is carried by a pivoted arm 8 adapted to be held in the open or closed position by a spring-pressed plunger 18. A filling aperture with a screw-plug 6 may be provided.
