Abstract
376,024. Hot-water bottles. LEYLAND & BIRMINGHAM RUBBER CO., Ltd. and BUTCHER, H. J., Rocklands, Sandy Lane, both in Leyland, Lancashire. July 15, 1931, No. 20322. [Class 64 (ii).] A rubber receptacle, e.g. a hotwater bottle, is provided with a detachable handle of rubber having a collar 1 adapted to be sprung around the neck of the bottle and to be retained by a projecting annular rib 11. The collar serves to maintain the engagement of an internal annular rib 10 with a recess in the neck block 8. The arm 2 of the handle is bent over so that its enlarged end 3 may be passed through a hole in the tab 12. The arm 2 is rendered inextensible by a cord, fabric or other reinforcement 13.
