[Class 44] [Also in Group XVII] A closure 4 for a recep. tacle such as a map-case 1 with transparent celluloid &c. walls is secured by fasteners 7 of steel or other wire of U-shape with the limbs formed to one or more open loops 8 extending in a plane normal to the plane of the U to impart elasticity so that the fastener may be more readily engaged and disengaged by rotation around its pivots 9.. A water-tight joint may be provided by a rubber tube 10 secured within the cap. Finger-pieces 11 may be provided to facilitate manipulation. The fastener may also be mounted on the cap, and in some cases this is of fabric. The transparent walls may be such that erasable marks may be made thereon by a chinagraph pencil.
