Abstract

471,834. Stoppers for bottles &c. FREEMAN, W. S. Nov. 20, 1936, Nos. 31869/36 and 1799/37. [Class 125(iii)] A resilient stopper for a bottle &c. comprises a plug portion 1, and a flexible skirt 2 which has serrations 3 formed thereon. The plug portion is hollowed at 5. A flange 11 terminates the skirt, which is folded back over the bottle neck as shown in Fig. 4, to close the bottle. In a modification, the plug portion is hollowed on the opposite side.
