375,757. Lubricating reciprocating pumps. CLERGET, P., 38, Rue Boileau, Paris. Dec. 22, 1930, No. 38579. Convention date, Dec. 27, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 12 (ii).] The plunger D of a fuel pump passes through a chamber B containing a lubricant non-miscible with and denser than the fuel. The chamber is provided with a window C, and the lubricant is maintained at the level 1-2 by means of a supply pipe F with cocks m, n. The upper surface R of the chamber B is inclined, in order to permit leakage fuel to rise above the lubricant. The pump draws from a chamber B<1> supplied by a tank A, which communicates also with the chamber B and the pipe F by pipes K, L.
