374,714. Endless chain conveyers. EVANS, W. E., 27, Chancery Lane, London. -(Ges. fiir F÷rderanlagen E. Heckel; 3, Saarbr³cken, Germany). Sept. 7, 1931, No. 25134. [Class 78 (i).] Bales, sacks, &c.are lowered by a travelling endless conveyer b, and during lowering are kept in contact with a stationary surface a by springs g. The conveyer may consist of chains c connected by cross-bars d, and may discharge on to a rocking shoot h which delivers the sacks f &c. to opposite sides alternately. The upper drum i of the conveyer may be coupled to one of the drums of the feeding conveyer k to assist in driving it.
