Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 78 (i).] An elevator for r gathering material from a heap and delivering it to a conveyer, cart, machine, &c. comprises an inclined member 3 having side walls 4 and a pair of parallel endless belts 5, 5<1> carrying scrapers 6 which are bent as shown in order to facilitate the penetration o f the heap. The belts travel on rails 9 and are kept in place by members 10.
