374,581. Condensers. BRITISH INSULATED CABLES, Ltd., Prescot, WELBOURN, B., The Croft, Rainhill, both in Lancashire, and HUMAN, A. H., 32, Victoria Street, London. April 30, 1931, No. 12779. [Class 38 (ii).] A rolled condenser 1, or a series of such condensers superposed, is enclosed in a container 3 filled with oil and provided at one end as shown or at both ends with metal caps 4 forming the external connections, corrugated or otherwise formed, so as to be flexible to accommodate the variations of volume with temperature, a resilient member, or members, 19 connects the terminal plate 10 with the end cap 4. In the example shown, with only one flexible end, the second terminal plate 10 is connected through a spring 18 with an external metal cap 17.
