Abstract

616,214. Condensers. LUCAS, Ltd., J., and WHITEHOUSE, H. E. Aug. 30, 1946, No. 26089. [Class 37] A paper and metal foil or like rolled condenser b is housed in a casing comprising a metal body part a, a metal cap d adapted to enclose and make contact with one end of the condenser, an annular rubber or other insulating bonding f moulded around and between adjacent parts of the cap and body part, and a second metal cap g soldered or brazed to the casing at its other end. The Provisional Specification also describes a container wherein the metal cap g is replaced by an integrally formed end piece, and a container having metal caps at each end secured by insulating bonding. Specifications 506,024 and 592,041, are referred to.
