Abstract

<PICT:0374319/IV/1> A washer for pulp, particularly that used in brewing, comprises a tubular member 2 within which is a propeller 4, an outer vessel 1 for the pulp and baffles 6 disposed exterior of the tubular member to prevent a rotary motion of the pulp. The washing liquid enters at 9 and passes off through the strainer 7.
