Abstract

336,344. Biddle, L. Aug. 10, 1929. Closure members.-A delivery tap for oil drums &c. comprises a single perforated tube a, Fig. 1, having two sets of screw threads e, h, the threads h near the inner end serving to support the tube when extended for delivering liquid, and the other threads e to retain the tube within the drum and, in conjunction with the washer i, to form a bung or closure for the closed position. The tap or tube a is entirely removable from the drum &c. Fig. 4 shows a similar but imperforate tube a with a rotary plug cock b<1> mounted in the outer end.
