Abstract

<PICT:0387983/IV/1> Textile threads are dyed or otherwise treated with liquids on a perforated tube 4 of stiffened paper which is secured to the perforated metal spindle 3 by recessed members 8, 9, the edges of the paper fitting into the recesses. The member 9 is screwed on to a plug 11 in the end of the spindle so as to press tightly on the edge of the paper. The paper may be cylindrical or cone shaped.
