518,854. Mixing liquids &c. OGILVIE, J. P., TROMP, L. A., and SUGAR MANUFACTURERS' SUPPLY CO., Ltd. Oct. 8, 1938, No. 29205. [Class 86] A mixing device comprises a shaft fitted with oppositely directed propellers which induce currents which are guided by the casing in which the propellers rotate so as to cross. The shaft 11 is fitted with conical members 12, 13 which guide the liquid currents to the gap in the casing 15, the walls of the gap being shaped so that the currents cross and re-cross. The gap may be adjustable and different ingredients may be introduced into the tank in which the device is mounted by upper and lower pipes.
