Abstract

374,013. Electric musical instruments. SIEMENS & HALSKE AKT.- GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin.-(Assignees of Driescher, H.; 13, Franzstrasse, Spandau, Berlin.) Feb. 24, 1931, No. 5806. Convention date, Feb. 25, 1930. [Class 88 (ii).] In an electric musical instrument with relay control, where mechanically oscillating elements (such as strings) -control electromagnetic, electric, or photo-electric circuits connected through an amplifier to a loud-speaker, in order to prevent acoustic back-coupling whereby the loud-speaker tones excite resonance either in the strings &c. or in the magnets &c., the electro magnets or corresponding parts are mounted on a common non-oscillating base such as the frame of the instrument, and the instrument is enclosed in a sound-proof manner.
