Abstract
373,699. Walls ; ceilings. WALPER, C. O., 26008, Pembrook Road, Huntington Woods, Michigan, U.S.A. March 18, 1931, No. 8349. [Class 20 (iv).] In a wall or ceiling formed of plaster boards and studding or beams, the boards are secured by clips having ,means, such as projections 22, which serve as a gauge for the plaster coat. The clips may be of H-section having the projections pressed out of the flanges. The projections may be of the form shown in Fig. 2 or of other forms. The clip may be formed from a piece of metal 16 folded into a T-shape and welded by its base 17 to a flat member 13, or the whole clip may be folded from a single strip of metal. The clip is fastened to the studding by a nail 14.
