373,452. Regulating transformers. LÍBL, O., 2, Neue Bismarckstrasse, Hermsdorf, Berlin. June 18, 1931, No. 17693. Addition to 371,670. [Class 3S (ii).] Relates to regulating transformers comprising primary windings on rectilinearly movable core parts to cooperating with secondary windings on fixed core parts as described in the parent Specification, and consists in providing for use on polyphase c i rcuits a number of such transformers in line with their movable windings on a common operating shaft. Fig. 1 shows an arrangement o f three such transformers for use on a three-phase system, the transformers having separate magnetic circuits. Fig. 2 shows an alternative arrangement in which the magnetic circuits are combined in a three-limbed core.
