372,580. Disinfecting &c. apparatus for water-waste-preventers. JOHNS, S. H., 175, East Dulwich Grove, London. June 5, 1931, No. 16408. [Class 26.] A device for supplying disinfectant &c. to a water-waste-preventer a comprises a member, such as a cap e, which is attached to a bracket p and to a depending pump cylinder l, situated within a vessel d, also carried by the member ; a piston-rod j extends through the member and is connected to the operating arm b of the cistern a, so that disinfectant &c. may be drawn into the pump through an aperture u and be forced into the cistern through a pipe s. The cap e may be secured to the vessel d by means of pin and bayonet joints g, h, and has a threaded boss i on which a nut n is arranged to hold a plate o carrying the bracket p. The cylinder l which is also screwed on to the boss i may be of glass or metal and has a further aperture at l<1>, whilst the rod j may be connected to the lever b by means of a U-shaped coupling v.
