[Class 26] A disinfecting device for use in conjunction with cisterns comprises a reservoir a and means such as j associated therewith for connecting it to the operating-arm i of a cistern whereby the reservoir is tilted at each operation so that a quantity of liquid enters a collecting-device c from which it is discharged into the cistern as the reservoir returns to normal position. The reservoir comprises a cylinder with an inclined end b, the part c, which discharges through a pipe d, being accommodated in the resultant upper corner. A filler-cap h with an air-vent is provided. The reservoir and arm i may be connected by a clamp or by a lever, chain or spring and the former may be mounted to tilt in a fixed support, its movement being limited by a stop.
