372,371. Distribution boards. ALLGEMEINE ELEKTRICIT€TS-GES., 2, Friedrich Karl-Ufer, Berlin. Feb. 6, 1931, No. 3886. Convention date, Feb. 8, 1930. [Class 38 (v).] To enable a single pattern of terminal board 1 to be used for meters of different types and ratings, the board is provided with grooves 2 .. 9 in which the requisite number of terminals 14 .. 21 of appropriate dimensions are inserted. Openings 10 .. 13 serve for screwing the conductors to the terminals, which are so dimensioned as to enter the grooves with a light binding action. Current terminals, as 15, 20, are of larger cross section than voltage terminals, as 16, 19, and grooves not required for terminals may be filled with insulating plugs. The terminals are assembled on a cover-plate 22 with a series of insulating frames 24 cemented together to provide extra support, and the whole is then inserted in the block 1 with only the short ends of the terminals and their binding-screws projecting. Suitable insulating material for the members 22, 24 and insulating plugs is fibre or presspahn. The cover 22 may be secured to the block 1 by screws or adhesive.
