Abstract

815,293. Terminal boards; plug boards. LAMPLUGH, W. E. P. March 19, 1956 [March 22, 1955], No. 8231/55. Class 38 (1). A terminal block is made up of identical insulating members 1 each carrying a terminal, the members being releasably secured together by co-operating projections 2 and recesses 3, holes 7 in the projections serving to receive locating bolts of which only two for each block are in general required. The terminal stud 4 may be replaced by plug or socket terminals. In another embodiment, Fig. 3, a flange 8 on each member shields the terminals from each other. Alternatively sockets may be provided in the members to receive bridging members to replace the projections and recesses.
