Abstract

427,970. Electric cut-outs. WIRTH, E. H., 5, Batson Street, PARTRIDGE, E. G., and BROWN, W. H., 112, Uxbridge Road, both in Shepherd's Bush, London. Nov. 2, 1933, No. 30413. [Class 38 (i)] A fuse box comprises one or more insulator bodies, each of which carries a number of fuses adapted to be bridged across a pair of terminals one at a time, means being provided for inspecting and indicating the fuse in use. As shown, the bodies are hexagonal prisms mounted on pins by means of bushes 15 which are engaged by external handles provided with pointers co-operating with numerals on the cover. Windows 30 are also provided to enable the fuses in circuit to be viewed. The fuse wires are carried through passages and end grooves in the bodies and are secured by means of screws 22 to terminal plates which co-operate with stationary terminals 17, 18.
