369,759. Loom stop-motions. ROBINSON, J. and ROBINSON, T. L., Ingham Street Iron Works, Blackburn. April 9, 1931, No. 10436. [Class 142 (i).] Pattern cards; measuring stop-motions; dobbies.-An extra lag a, formed with an integral projection c or provided with a removable peg in addition to the usual measuring or changing peg d, is inserted in a measuring chain b of a cross border dobby at a point where it is desired to stop the loom. When the lag a reaches the changing position the projection c engages a lever j, pivotally mounted on one of the barrel changing levers k, and raises a slidably mounted rod i, thereby tilting a lever g and causing the first or other hook h of the dobby to be engaged by the knives. Movement of the top hook actuates through its corresponding jack or shedding lever any suitable loom stopping mechanism.
