Abstract

369,383. Endless belt t conveyers. MORISON, A. M., Togston Hall, Amble, and LEONARD, W. J., West View, Broomhill, both in Morpeth, Northumberland. March 12, 1931, No. 7676. [Class 78 (i).] The driving pulleys A, B are geared together and contact with the inner surface of the belt E. Binder pulleys C, D, which may be driven, are provided to increase the area of contact between the belt and the pulleys A, B. The diameters of the driving pulleys may-increase successively from the end pulley to the innermost one. The motive power may be a motor which is located between the pulleys A, B, and the shaft of which is connected by worm or bevel gearing with spur wheels in driving relation with the pulleys A, B.
