Abstract

369,331. Automatic guns. CESKOSLOVENSKA ZBROJOVKA AKCIOVA SPOLECNOST V. BRNE and STALLER, K., 7, U. Lazaretu, Briinn, Czecho-Slovakia. Feb. 4, 1931, No. 3607. [Class 92 (ii).] Automatic guns of the kind in which the barrel 3 moves forwards on discharge and in which the cartridges 8 are fed across the gun on members x which may be carried by a strip, belt, or disc, have the members x in the form of separate breech-blocks for each cartridge. In the form shown in Fig. 5, the breech-blocks x<1>, x2, &c. are each in two parts adapted to grip the base of a cartridge when linked together by pins 20 to form a chain. The links are guided through the gun by parts 45, 46 and form a rigid rack with teeth 50 to facilitate feeding the cartridges through the gun. The breech-blocks each have a central hole 18 to admit the firing pin 19.
