366,588. Fuel - injection p u m p s. NAPIER & SON, Ltd., D. and WILKINSON, G. S., 211, Acton Vale,. London. Nov. 7, 1930, No. 33524. Addition to 353,771. [Class 102 (i).] In a fuel-injection pump as described.in the parent- Specification wherein to terminate deliverv the delivery passage is closed simultaneously with the opening of the suction or relief port, means are provided wherein the delivery passage is reopened immediately after closing it to relieve the pressure therein. The Figure shows a pump the plunger B of which is provided with a helical groove L the edges of which co-operate with the suction port D and delivery port C and also a subsidiary helical groove L<2> the edges arranged so that regardless of the rotational position of the plunger, the delivery port is reopened immediately after closing.
