366,196. Corsets ; abdominal belts. ROYAL WORCESTER CORSET CO., 30, Wyman Street, Worcester, Massachusetts, U.S.A. Dec. 4, 1930, No. 36546. Convention date, Oct. 15. [Class 141.] A corset or like confining garment comprises a back member 12 and a broad inner belt consisting of two detachably connected parts 15, 16 connected at the outer opposite edges by tapes 20, which slide freely in metal loops 14 attached to the edges of the back member 12, to the corresponding edges of parts 21, 22 of a broad front member also adapted to be detachably fastened together and which constitute the front of the garment. Each of the parts 15, 16 of the inner belt may have a section 17 of elastic fabric. To adapt the garment to different persons, the loops 14 may be mounted on holding strips which can be adjusted ver. tically along the edges of the back member 12.
