366,134. Lattice poles ; constructional ironwork. WALLEN, A. C., 1468, Medland Avenue, Bronxville, New York, U.S.A. Oct. 31, 1930, No. 32801. [Classes 20 (i) and 20 (ii).] A pole section of rolled section metal is made from a blank strip formed by welding together, end to end, flat blanks 10, 11, 12 of uniform width and then bending the strip across the welds to the section required. The flat blanks .may be of the same or of different thicknesses. The pole sections are joined together to form a lattice pole by means of a connecting member 18 welded to them at 17. More than one section may be used at each side, in which case the adjacent flanges are bolted together by bolts 21.
