SIEMIENSSCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin.-(Assignees of Osterreichische Siemens-Schuckert-Werke ; 150, Engerthstrasse, Vienna.) Oct. 13, 1930, No. 30602. Convention date, July 26. [Class 38 (iv).] In a power system, particularly for vehicles in which a heat engine drives a generator which is automatically regulated to an approximately constant torque a further regulation is provided dependent upon the degree of variation of the speed of the heat engine from that to which it is set by its speed governor and designed to correct faults in the first named regulation. The governor 7 is connected to a contact member 15 which is adapted to insert resistance 3 into the field circuit of the generator 1 if the speed should fall. It may in addition be adapted to short circuit sections of resistance 4 in steps if the speed should rise. To avoid hunting a lost motion connection 16 is preferably provided.
