[Class 108 (i).] In double-deck vehicles such as omnibuses and the like the floor of the upper deck is carried by transverse members having end portions a at the same level with an intermediate depressed portion d and integral, gussets e or knees at the ends for' attachment to the body pillars. The member may be of pressed sheet-metal in which case reinforcing angle-irons fare provided or it may be of cast metal or built up.
