Abstract

363,050. Flashlight photography. STEWART, A., 7, Suffolk Street, Pall Mall East, London.. Oct. 22, 1930, No. 31790. [Class 9S (i).] A hand camera is fitted with a flash lamp 10 in which an oxidizable material is ignited by the filament current. One lamp terminal is connected to a battery which may also be fitted on the camera. The circuit is completed after the shutter is released, as by a contact segment 6 on the shutter mechanism and a wiping contact. A reflector 11 may also be mounted behind the flash lamp. Two lamps may be fitted on the camera with a change over switch for alternative use. Reference is made to the use of lamps as described in Specifications 272,394 and 324,578, [both in Class 75 (i), Burners &c.].
