Abstract
360,760. Siphon discharge waterwaste preventers ; preventing access of insects. WOODHOUSE, A., of Hexthorpe Brass & Iron Works, Foundry Road, Hexthorpe, Doncaster. Feb. 2, 1931, No. 3227. [Classes 5 (i) and 26.] In a flushing cistern constructed to prevent access of insects, the axle a, Fig. 1, of the flushing lever is extended outside the cistern at one end, and the pull chain is attached to an arm g at this end, a bush h being placed over the axle in its bearing. The cistern cover j, Fig. 2, may rest on packing k in a recess in the body, or a flange on the cover may fit into a groove in the body, and a perforated disc n is secured in the overflow member m.
