Abstract
360,717. Hand-trucks; vehicles with removable bodies. DREWRY, J. S., Kingston, Willian Way, and SHELVOKE & DREWRY, Ltd., Icknield Way, both in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. Dec. 12, 1930, No. 37520. [Class 108 (i).] A hand-truck comprising a frame A and wheels B, C is provided with a winch drum D and chain adapted to draw a load on to the frame and to discharge it on to a vehicle or platform. The truck is provided with means such as hooks H whereby it is secured to the vehicle &c. in tipped position to transfer load to the vehicle. An operating handle E is provided for the winch. The vehicle J is provided with brackets L whereby the truck may be carried in the position indicated in Fig. 3 to its destination where it is unshipped and utilized in transferring the load.
