360,235. Motor supports. MAUZ, W., PFEIFFER, P., FABER, E., and HAHN, L., (trading as MAUZ & PEIFFER), Botnang, Stuttgart, Germany. Dec. 8, 1930, No. 313915. Convention date, Dec. 16, 1929. [Class 35.] A motor which is to be supported in an outer casing, more particularly for a vacuum cleaner, is arranged in an intermediate casing against which it is pressed by resilient means, a resilient ring being interposed between the intermediate casing and the abutting end of the motor. In the form shown,. the motor-fan unit b is pressed by the spring p against the resilient ring k which is carried by the intermediate casing m. The intermediate casing m has a flange m<2> which presses against or is embedded in the resilient ring n and is secured to the end of the outer casing a. The springs p may be replaced by a compression spring arranged between the outer end of the motor-fan unit b and a resilient pad attached to the end cover e.
