359,840. Driving looms. URQUHART, LINDSAY, & ROBERTSON ORCHAR, Ltd. and FORBES, A. G., Blackness Foundry, Dundee. Feb. 14, 1931, No. 4703. [Class 142 (i).] The crank shafts 9, 9a of two adjacent looms are driven by an electric motor 1 through gearing 4, 5 to a countershaft 3 having pulleys 6, 6a connected by belting to pulleys 8, 8a adapted to be clutched independently to the crank shafts. The pulleys 8, 8a carry sprockets 13 for the shuttlechanging motion.
