[Class 110 (i).] In a turbo blower or compresser, the output is controlled by a regulating disc d mounted on screwed spindles e so that it may be adjusted in the passage c leading to the suction eye of the first impeller a. The spindles e are rotatable in the packing ring g and carry pinions h which mesh with a spur wheel i so that, when one spindle is rotated by a handwheel j, all the spindles turn in unison. A regulating disc d may be provided at the eye of any or all of the impellers after the first.
