Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 122 (i).] In an internal-combustion engine the lower side of the piston has an extension 8 working in a shell 10 projecting into the crank case. The big end is connected to a strap 22 surrounding the crank pin 23 by a spindle 24, whose axis is at right-angles to the shaft axis.
